Willow Bend is a small caravan park east of town, across the Bell Causeway. It has about forty pitches, a small shop, and a recreation room. The Drainage Committee has, since 2025, included Willow Bend in its population count.

Plot 14 is the year-round pitch. Caspar Wren, the local historian, lives there.
On the count
Willow Bend’s inclusion in the Drainage Committee’s count is one of the principal reasons the Committee and the Council are at present at odds over the census. The Drainage Committee argues that the park’s occupants are “people we are answerable for”. The Council argues that seasonal occupants are not, by definition, residents.
The dispute is covered at Town Hall.
