Quiet, exact, fond of a long silence. The town’s unofficial archivist. Will tell you things when she trusts you.

Cheerful, persistent, dry. Born in Birmingham. Moved to Morrowfen eleven years ago for the quiet.

Composed, thorough, fond of a minute. Has worked for four Councils and one Drainage Committee. Keeps her own counsel.

Calm, observant, kindly, slightly amused by everything. Came to Morrowfen from a London parish three years ago.

Difficult to find. Pleasant when found. Author of the only published town history. Lives at Willow Bend, plot 14.

Practical, friendly, slightly nosy. Runs the Reading Room on strong tea. Volunteer at the Gazette.
